Welcome to the last score report of open practice bowling for the spring season. I will be taking off next week in order to relax before I start the Sport Experience league at Fox Bowl. That being said, let's talk briefly about tonight's outing.
Game 1: Lanes played as expected for a transitioning house shot, keep it simple and play up the track region. Didn't need to do much more, thankfully. It would be helpful to not leave a 7-9-10 in the ninth frame, but what are you going to do? Yes, I said 7-9-10...and no I wasn't using plastic equipment. And no, I did not baby it.
Game 2: Single pin spares are the key to not getting dominated. That and making good shots when the lanes begin to transition. Lesson learned: pick up your spares...
Game 3: Totally lost my mojo. What are you going to do? I picked up my spares but couldn't find a home on the lane.
To my fellow bowlers, see ya in two weeks!
