SSE - 2017-06-28 (Week 8) [PRE-BOWL]

Sometimes, life is more important than bowling. You have to set your priorities accordingly and that's why I pre-bowled. I imagine I could take some flack for doing this, but family comes first. Taryn, who you see at times on this website, turns 27 on the 28th. With my family first blurb out of the way, let's get into the pre-bowl review.

Preface

The lanes were bowled on prior to my pre-bowl.  I did complete a rough review of the lanes in order to make a judgement in regards to general "freshness".  I imagine that the lanes might have endured roughly one to two games or so.

Games

Even with the games completed on the pattern, I believe that the shot played closely to how it would if the pattern was fresh.  Shots played too far outside never recovered and shots on the inside generally held in place.  I believe that good shot making is key to success here.  If you can stay consistent with your target, you should score well.  Unfortunately for me, that is something that I need to work on.

I started with the Flash Point from game one until late game two.  During the fifth frame of game two, I lost the reaction I was looking for.  After to switching to something with more power, I was lined up and ready to go.
