Sometimes life provides you with moments that you can't pass up. For Taryn and I, attending the NHL Draft was one of those times. This past Saturday we hung out at the United Center, checking out the Fan Fest and occasionally overseeing a number of youngins' begin their hockey careers within the UC. The FanFest was incredible with a number of activities and once in a lifetime moments: Photo Ops, fun games, great music and much more. Being able to oversee the selection was quite the experience and actually seeing how much time is available for each pick. While we were only able to see the later rounds, I can't imagine the pressure of having to decide who to draft with only THREE MINUTES per pick. The two best parts of the Draft was being able to take pictures with Tommy Hawk and personally being able to congratulate a few new stars on the block. Oh, and we got to see the new jerseys! While the Golden Knights might not have the best team name, their jersey is rad! In short, memories for a lifetime.
